We stayed in the top floor apartment and we absolutely loved it. The apartment really is stunning, the views are amazing as is the pool area. Vis and the neighbourhood we stayed in was great ... an easy walk to some great restaurants, bars and the harbour. Alma was a great host, she was very helpful before we went with Ferries etc and the best way to get to the island and was easy to contact and responded quickly, she also gave us some great restaurant reccomendations. We will definitely be returning to Vis and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We had the most relaxing experience staying in Villa Mara. It is a beautiful villa which has everything you need to enjoy a short or long holiday. The pool was clean and refreshing, the villa itself spotless and comfortable. Alma was very helpful and responsive. The view from the lounge room and main bedroom is absolutely sensational!! Alma and Ratko were wonderful hosts during our time in Vis -- flexible, kind and helpful with recommendations. The house is beautiful, clean and well stocked with essentials that helped us transition to island life for our stay. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that bikes were included with the house. We used those to go down to the small markets in town to grab produce, cheese and prosciutto for relaxing lunches on the porch. My wife and I enjoyed the pool area, which was just as advertised in the photos -- clean, wonderful views and comfortable furniture (love the spinning chair) -- was a great place to unwind after exploring the island!

We had an incredible experience at Villa Mara. The home is exactly as pictured - beautifully designed with stunning views. We made great use of the outdoor BBQ and eating area, pool and loungers, washing machine, and we especially loved having access to the 2 bikes to get around Vis - we used them every day! Everything was so well thought-out for guests and all the little details showed great care - from extra beach towels to extra chargers. We absolutely loved Villa Mara. Alma was very responsive and helpful with our travel questions/requirements. We would stay here again if we travel back to Vis.

This place is magical. It's clean and airy and the pool is a delight. It's also a short walk to the town Kut (3-5 minutes) with amazing restaurants and beaches. You can also walk another 10-15 minutes along a lovely beach path to get to the main town of Vis.
